Who is Mayte Carrasco Gea?

MULTI-AWARD-WINING DIRECTOR AND PRODUCER OF DOCUMENTARYS, Writer and War Reporter Specialized in Armed Conflicts and Human Rights. It has covered some of the most dangerous areas in the world, including Georgia, Afghanistan, Mali, Syria, Iraq, Israel/Palestine and Latin America. Her experience on the ground has given her a direct and deep understanding of the real impact of war and peace processes. Her career has been recognized with international awards such as BAFTA as executive producer for the film "State of Rage", the Iris Prize of the Academy of Sciences and Television Arts of Spain for its coverage of the civil war in Syria, the Grimme Prize of Germany for "Afghanistan, the wounded land", and the prize for the best foreign correspondent of the International Center of the International Center. She is also a television presenter (the trenches of life) and founder of the producer "The Big Story Films", focused on documentaries on conflicts and human rights. She has been a professor in universities such as "Sciences PO" in France and the "University Jaume I" in Spain, and has published several novels and essays. In addition, she is a lecturer on geopolitics in private sessions for banks, senior executives, foundations and institutional cabinets.
