Humberto Ríos Rodríguez

A graduate in Economics and Business Administration, he is a certified actuary, auditor, and sworn accountant, as well as a State Finance Inspector for the Ministry of Economy and Finance. He has been a lecturer at the Complutense University of Madrid, the University of Alcalá de Henares, and IE Business School. He has held various positions, including Director General of Customs at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Secretary General of Spanish Radio and Television (RTVE), and Team Leader at the National Customs Inspection Office of the State Tax Agency, among others. He has served as President of the World Customs Organization (WCO) and the Customs Cooperation Council, and has been a member of the boards of directors of major companies such as the Spanish Royal Mint (Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre), the Spanish Tobacco Company (Tabacalera), and Repsol Petroleum.
