Who is Elena Carolina Díaz Galán?

She is the UN Special Rapporteur on extreme poverty and human rights. She is aFull Professor of Public International Law and International Relations and Director of International Promotion of Hispanic Programs and Global Responsibility at Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid. Her main research interests are the protection of human rights, vulnerable groups, extreme poverty, international peace and security, and international organizations .She has conducted research at various foreign universities and has been a member of research projects such as the United Nations Chair on the Eradication of Poverty.
