Who is Baltasar Garzón Real?

Magistrate, judge with 31 years of professional experience. Founder and honorary president of the Baltasar Garzón International Foundation and director of the law firm International Legal Organization for Cooperation and Development (ILOCAD). He has been an advisor to the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court; member of the committee of 

He has served as a specialist in the prevention of torture for the Council of Europe; an advisor to the mission supporting the peace process in Colombia; coordinator of the international monitoring of judicial reform in Ecuador; advisor to the Human Rights Commission of the Argentine Chamber of Representatives; president of the board of directors of the UNESCO International Center for the Promotion of Human Rights in Argentina; collaborator with the Department of Human Rights at the University of Washington; and administrator of the platform for the protection and defense of whistleblowers in Africa. He holds honorary doctorates from 30 universities worldwide. 

Author of 17 books, his latest publication is "Democracy Under Threat: When Fascism Attacks Coexistence.".
