Description

The exhibition “Constellation of Canary Island Women Writers” aims to highlight and acknowledge the contributions of women to the literature and culture of the islands. Through a journey through the lives and works of various Canarian authors, the exhibition gives voice to those who, in many cases, have been silenced or underappreciated throughout history. The exhibition invites the public to discover their personal journeys, their writings, and their cultural legacy, emphasizing the fundamental role of these writers in shaping Canarian identity.

In addition to its literary dimension, the exhibition has a strong educational and social character, promoting equality, collective memory and the recognition of female talent.
