Concert Los Sabandeños 60 years

Within the framework of the International Campus Ciudad de la Laguna La Música also has its place as a vehicle for identity and collective memory.

And few groups represent that cross between culture, history and belonging than Los Sabandeños.

Fulfilling six decades of the beginning of his journey, at which time a group of friends from the university environment of La Laguna decided to create a musical group that would end up marking the history of Canarian folk and popular music: los Sabandeños.

Today, with almost 70 albums behind them and a story marked by cultural commitment, los Sabandeños celebrates their 60th anniversary with a special production: an exciting show that pays tribute to their cultural legacy.

The repertoire that los Sabandeños offer, within the International Campus Ciudad de la Laguna, will be 15 emblematic themes of their musical history, pieces that have marked generations and that are recorded in the collective memory.

La Laguna, Unesco's World Heritage City, becomes that night to celebrate ours: the tradition made music, the legacy that is still alive, and the art of telling who we are through the songs.
