Luis Pérez López

Luis Fernando Pérez López (La Palma, 1974) is a journalist specializing in international news and deputy director of the International News Department at TVE (Spanish National Television). His career began in Canarian media and was consolidated at Televisión Española in 1997. He has served as a correspondent in Bogotá, Moscow, and Rabat, covering key events such as the death of Yasser Arafat, the London bombings, and the Lebanese Civil War. In 2012, he was awarded the International Journalism Prize by the International Press Club.
