Katya Rubia is Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience and Deputy Director of the Department of Child Psychiatry/Pears Maudsley Centre for Children and Young People at King's College London, UK.
She is also Professor at the Technical University of Dresden, Germany, and a Transcampus Professor at the King's-Dresden Transcampus Initiative. She is a world expert in MRI neuroimaging for ADHD and other childhood psychiatric disorders. Her research over the past 15 years has focused on neurotherapies for ADHD. She has published more than 265 articles and has an h-index of 107. She was included in Clarivate's 2019 and 2020 lists of the most cited scientists of the last decade and is recognized by Expertscape and Google GPS as a world leader in ADHD (top 5% cited in that field). She received the European Kramer-Pollnow Award for scientific excellence in clinical research in biological child psychiatry. He is a corresponding member of the Royal Academy of Medicine of Spain. He is part of the editorial board of several scientific journals, including “Biological Psychiatry”.
