Who is Juan Manuel Palerm Salazar?

Architect and Professor of Architecture in the Department of Architectural Projects at the School of Architecture of the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and Visiting Professor (2025) at IUAV Venice University and the Polytechnic University of Milan. In addition to his academic, teaching, and research work, he practices as an architect, with a distinguished professional career at Palerm & Tabares de Nava architects, focused on critical reflection on architectural design, heritage, and landscape. Special Advisor to the UNISCAPE European Universities Network (President 2012-2024). Director of the Department of Graphic Expression and Architectural Projects at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and of the Architecture, Heritage, and Landscape Research Group. Vice President of the International Center for Heritage Conservation Foundation – CICOP.
