José Segura Clavell

Director General of Casa África. Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor of Thermodynamics at the Official School of Nautical Studies of Tenerife and Professor of Applied Physics at the University of La Laguna. In his extensive career as a public representative, Segura has been: Councilor and President of the Tenerife Island Council; Senator for the island of Tenerife; Mayor of the municipality of San Cristóbal de La Laguna; Member of Parliament for the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife; and Government Delegate in the Canary Islands. He is also the author of publications on various topics, the most recent focusing on African issues.
