He is a Professor of Labor Law and Social Security at the Carlos III University of Madrid and has served as Legal Counsel to the Constitutional Court. Author of more than 500 articles in magazines and collective works, occupies the number 5 among the most cited researchers in the Labor Law area. His work "The future of work in the era of digitalization and robotics" is the most cited in that area. His most recent monographs are: Labor Law of Damage (2025) and algorithms and artificial intelligence in Digital Labor Law (2022). He directs the Institute for Research of Law and Economics (IUDEC) of the Carlos III University of Madrid. He is Counsel of Uría Menéndez Abogados. He was awarded in 2024 as the best laborist of the year with the Asnala-Santander award.
