Who is the Library Group of the Carlos III University of Madrid?

The Multidisciplinary Library of the Colmenarejo Campus of the Carlos III University of Madrid has housed, since 2016, for its conservation and study, the personal archive of Professor Gregorio Peces-Barba Martínez, founder of UC3M.

The political figure of Gregorio Peces-Barba and his career as a jurist and teacher make this legacy of great interest for the investigation of the most recent history of Spain.

Furthermore, his personal library, consisting of more than nine thousand titles on subjects such as philosophy of law, political thought, fundamental rights, constitutions, ethics, philosophy, art and history, is integrated into the holdings of the Colmenarejo Campus Library.
