Who is Ernesto Pereda de Pablo?

Ernesto Pereda de Pablo is a professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of La Laguna, where he conducts research in the field of neuroengineering. He served as Vice-Rector for Research (2019-2023) and Director of the Doctoral School (2015-2019), and currently holds the position of Director of the Higher School of Engineering and Technology. He has undertaken research stays in Germany (Max Planck Institute for Complex Systems), the Austrian Academy of Sciences, and the University of London. His work focuses on the application of brain signal analysis techniques to better understand brain function and develop brain-computer interface technologies, combining engineering, neuroscience, and data science.
