Who is Ernesto Pereda de Pablo?

Ernesto Pereda de Pablo is a professor of the area of Electrical Engineering at the University of La Laguna, where he develops his research work in the field of Neuroengineering. He was Vice Chancellor for Research (2019-2023) and director of the Doctoral School (2015-2019), and currently occupies the position of director of the Higher School of Engineering and Technology. He has carried out research stays in Germany (Max Planck Institute of Complex Systems), the Academy of Sciences of Austria and the University of London. His work focuses on the application of brain signal analysis techniques to better understand the functioning of the brain and develop cerebro-computer interface technologies, combining engineering, neuroscience and data science.
