Who is Carmen Espegel Alonso?

He is a professor of architectural projects of the Higher Technical School of Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (ETSAM). His career is based on three complementary areas: academic, research and professional. At the academic level he has taught both in Spain and abroad. His research orientation focuses on intervention in heritage and housing. Directs the “Collective Housing” research group. He has written books and numerous articles showing his critical thinking. In the professional field, he directs the firm Espegel Architects, whose works have been recognized on different occasions.
