Who is María Belén Melián Batista?

Full Professor in the area of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at the University of La Laguna. Degree in Mathematics, a graduate in Statistical Sciences and Techniques and a doctor in computer science from the University of La Laguna. Its main lines of research and knowledge transfer focus on the optimization, simulation and data analytics, mainly applied to port logistics, to the transport of goods, and the management of the collection of hotel waste. She was a co-founder partner of Kaizten Analytics, SL, a technology-based company (Spin-Off at the University of La Laguna), in which she participated until March 2024.
