Description

AI is unstoppable and brings countless benefits to humankind. But it also poses undeniable risks to our rights. How does the law, and therefore jurists and lawyers, react to these challenges in guaranteeing respect for fundamental rights and the very essence of being human? To this end, this presentation will address the foundations of European and Spanish regulations on artificial intelligence, including the EU Regulation on Artificial Intelligence (RIA or AI Act), its recent amendment under the Omnibus Regulation, and the forthcoming Spanish Organic Law for the proper use and governance of artificial intelligence.
