This building designed by the architect Mariano Estaga Arias-Girón between 1908 and 1909, built by the Rodríguez de Azero family, is a clear exponent of the eclectic architecture of the early twentieth century. It presents interesting modernist elements, such as the side balconies of wrought iron closed by glass, and historicists, such as the French palatial style tower covered by slate sheets. Inside, the palace is organized around a large central courtyard and houses an impressive art nouveau influence on the imperial staircase, which represents a landscape with birds (herons). The decoration includes elaborate forges on balconies, railings, bars and pinnacles, which enhance their elegance and refinement. It currently houses the headquarters of the Casino de la Laguna, Cultural, Recreational and Sports Society, founded in 1899, a symbol of the social and cultural dynamism of La Laguna.
