Description

The Closing Conference of the International Campus will be in charge of Professor Rafael Yuste, a neurobiologist of international renown and director of the Neurotechnology Center at Columbia University. In his speech, Yuste will address the impact of the new neurotechnologies on science, medicine and society, highlighting their associated applications and ethical risks. As a promoter of the Brain initiative and the concept of "neurode rights", it will reflect on the need to guarantee the protection of the human mind to technological advances.

Valentín Martínez Pillet, director of the Institute of Astrophysics of the Canary Islands, will be in charge of its presentation.
